Jar (storage); ht. 66 cm; first half 12^th century; brown monochrome. With oval body, sloping shoulder, very short neck, narrow mouth with thick rolled rim; bands of scallop design on shoulder and body; carved rings encircle lower body near base; three handles around mouth. Grey clay; badly eroded brown glaze.
