Jar (storage); ht. 59 cm; mid-12^th century; brown monochrome. With oval body, sloping shoulder, very short neck, narrow mouth with a thick rolled rim; incised scallop design on shoulder and body; carved rings encircle lower body. Buff clay; caramel glaze.
