A late 19th century stem plate with a pie-shaped rim. The exterior of the plate is decorated with pink flowers with a white frame on a deep red background and divided into panels by a yellow vertical line and a yellow band at the mouth. Decoration on the interior of the plate includes a central open lotus pod medallion in red, white, and yellow encircled by a blue band with red and white flowers; red-brown lotus petals outlined in white with red flowers and green leaves fill the cavetto, a band of three-leaf red flowers around the lower side of the mouth, a yellow band with red-brown dots at the mouth and a bright blue seed motif on the red rim. The stem has a white band at the top, followed by a green one; the remainder of the stem is divided into vertical panels by a yellow line and filled with red flowers and green leaves on a red background; a green band around the foot.
