A late 19th century covered bowl that is a variation of the multi-colored Bencharong in that only two colors were used, a vibrant blue background and a delicate floral pattern of undulating stems with blossoms executed in gold. Swags on the border are European influenced. An open lotus blossom in red enamel is on the center of the cover. Lotus-leaf lappets with floral sprays encircle the foot. The white-glazed interior is undecorated.
