A late 19th century pedestal water (“toh”) jar with a white flower and green leaf pattern on a red-brown background, a turquoise band with a brown exotic cotton leaf motif at the mouth and lower body; a solid red band above the foot; a turquoise band with a brown scroll at the foot, which is splayed; a gold band with a floral motif at the mouth. The cover has an out-turned rim with a yellow band, an all-over flower plattern on a red-brown background, a turquoise band around the base of the top, a three-tiered (two turquoise, one red-brown) top and a yellow finial that looks like a vase.
