A 19th century water (“toh”) jar with an all-over pattern of various multi-colored flowers on an orange background, turquoise bands with a pink exotic cotton leaf pattern on the upper and lower body, yellow bands with a pink flower and green leaf motif at the mouth and the foot. The cover is of similar decoration; the knob has two tiers (one orange with a yellow band; the other turquoise); the yellow finial with pink flowers is lotus-bud shaped. The rim of the cover and the body are banded in metal.
