| A late 19th century bowl with an everted rim. The decoration consisting of various leafy flowers in bloom and birds is Chinese inspired. Although it looks like a white background it was originally gold and has eroded. Red rings at the mouth and foot enclose a gold band with a red and green flower pattern. The solid green band at the foot does not cover the foot entirely and white glaze is visible. The interior is white glazed and the ring at the mouth is the same as that on the exterior. |
