An elegantly decorated bowl, 19th century, with Thepanoms alternating with fearsome lion faces, a blue, brown, and yellow scroll on a turquoise background; a red band with gold seeds on the upper body, a yellow band with brown flowers and turquoise leaves around the mouth, a gold rim, and a solid red band at the foot; traces of the white glaze are visible at the bottom of the foot. The interior is white glazed with a blue-grey band filled with gold seeds and enclosed by two blue rings around the upper body; a red band with gold flowers and green leaves around the mouth. This piece could possibly be classified as Lai Nam Thong but because of the minimal amount of gold, it fits well in the Bencharong category.
