A bowl that probably dates to the 18th century. The body is decorated with white diamond-shaped medallions, a green frame, and an open lotus pod motif on a yellow background, a graceful, blooming lotus, stem, and leaf design on a black background; a broad red band with a flower and dot motif and a narrow yellow ring around the lower and upper body; a green band with a pink floral scroll around the mouth and foot and a red ring at the lip. The interior is green with a yellow band and floral scroll around the mouth.
