Bencharong (000028) [bj-082] Covered Bowl The Jim Thompson Museum Collection

An early 19th century covered bowl with a wide mouth (diam=????). The decoration is similar on the bowl and the cover. The decoration includes: an all-over pattern of peonies and lotus on a gold background; a band with a key-fret motif (blue) around the mouth; a band of gold with a scroll (red) design around the foot and the top of the cover.
