Covered Bow, diam 17.5 cml The Jim Thompson Museum Collection |

| A 19th century covered bowl. The decoration on the bowl and the cover is nearly the same. It includes white medallions with a Thepanom alternating with a Garuda (out-stretched arms); a delicate twisting stem pattern (green and blue) on a white background; a blue band with a sugar-cane-eye design around the upper body; above, a green band with an exotic cotton leaf motif (purple). The top of the cover and the mouth rim of the bowl are banded in metal. |
