Pot; diam. 8 cm; last half 11th century; brown monochrome. With angular form, slightly straight sides, sloping shoulder, narrow and constricted neck and mouth, and a broad base; horizontal rings encircle mouth; body is decorated with parallel rings intersected by deeply-incised narrow vertical lines; two rows of modelled spikes on lower and upper shoulder; two broadly-incised dashes decorate the base of each spike. Grey clay; thin dark-brown glaze.
