A 20^th century rectangular box of brass and silver inlay for betel chewing ingredients made by the Marano people of the Philippines (L=21 cm). The interior is fitted with four individual compartments for the ingredients. The box is decorated with a repetitive pattern dominated by a graceful floral scroll that covers the entire box.
