A 20^th century red and black lacquer cylindrical box for betel chewing ingredients (H=14 cm). The cover and the body are approximately the same size and fit together tightly. The decoration covers both the exterior and the interior. It is divided into segments around the body and contained within bands at the top and the bottom.
