Private Collection

A 20th century container for lime made of buffalo horn and trimmed in decorated silver (H=18 cm). The tubular container has a cover of about one-third of its height made of silver and shaped like a lotus bud. It is connected to the body by a chain. A silver spatula for removing the lime paste is part of the set. A ring on the tip allows the lime container to be attached to a belt thus making it portable.
