| Private Collection A ca. 17th to 18th century glazed ceramic container for lime, which is typical of the form produced in Vietnam (H=17 cm)). It is thickly potted with a spherical body and a heavy strap handle, an opening on the shoulder, and a carved foot ring. The handle and shoulder are decorated with applied floral and animal forms. It is covered with a transparent, yellowish glaze that has dark-veined crazing. |
